Age limits and relaxations applicable as of 17 July 2026:
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 35 years
SC / ST Candidates: Relaxable up to 5 years

Candidates must fulfill one of the following qualifications to apply:
Ph.D. Option: Ph.D. in Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, Oceanography, Physics, or Applied Physics with Meteorology or an equivalent subject as the main discipline.
M.E. / M.Tech Option: First-class M.E. or M.Tech in Atmospheric Science or Ocean Sciences with at least 3 years of research experience and a minimum of one research publication in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal related to atmospheric, oceanic, or climate sciences.
Pre-qualification criteria: B.E., B.Tech, M.Sc., or equivalent degrees must be first-class with a minimum of 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA.

Emoluments & Perks:

Job Responsibilities:
The researcher will work at the Meteorology Facility providing atmospheric observations, upper air data analysis, and support for space launch operations at Sriharikota.
