The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the notification for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP PO/MT-XVI) to recruit Probationary Officers and Management Trainees across 11 participating public sector banks. A total of 6,715 vacancies have been announced so far by 8 banks, with 3 banks yet to report their counts. Last date for application 21st July 2026.

Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree (Bachelor's Degree) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or hold an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
The final graduation result must be officially declared on or before July 21, 2026.
Candidates must possess a valid mark-sheet or degree certificate when registering.

Key Recruitment Rules:
The Preliminary examination serves purely as a qualifying phase to filter candidates for the Main exam and marks scored will not count toward final merit listing.
Final selection is prepared based on a combined score weightage of 80:20 from the Online Main Examination and the Interview.
A penalty of 0.25 marks is applicable for each incorrect objective answer.
