The Indian Army has invited online applications from unmarried male graduates for the NCC Special Entry Scheme 125th Course (commencing April 2027). This direct officer entry grants a Short Service Commission (Non-Technical) in the rank of Lieutenant. Candidates must hold an NCC 'C' Certificate with at least a 'B' grade. Selected candidates will undergo 49 weeks of training at OTA. Last date for application 20th August 2026.

Candidates must be between 19 to 25 years of age as on 01 January 2027.
Birth Date Range: Born not earlier than 02 Jan 2002 and not later than 01 Jan 2008 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification:
Graduate degree from a recognized university or equivalent with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks.
Final year students are also eligible to apply, provided they complete and obtain their Graduation Degree before the course commencement.
NCC 'C' Certificate Requirement:
Must have served for a minimum of two/three academic years in the Senior Division/Wing of NCC and obtained a minimum of 'B' Grade in the NCC 'C' Certificate Exam.
For Wards of Battle Casualties: A degree from a recognized university with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks is required (NCC 'C' certificate is not mandatory for this category).
