Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has announced an official recruitment notification for the engagement of 200 Trade Apprentices across 18 technical disciplines. The apprenticeship training will be conducted for a duration of one year at the Kalpakkam campus in Tamil Nadu. Last date for application 19th August 2026.

Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules:
SC / ST: 5 years
OBC (NCL): 3 years

Candidates must possess an ITI Pass Certificate (NCVT / SCVT) in the relevant technical trade from a recognized institution.
Applicants must apply for only one trade that strictly matches their ITI qualification certificate.
Candidates who have already completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 are not eligible.
