Upper Age Limits (as on 24.09.2026):
Junior Technician (Groups I to V): Maximum 27 years
Junior Library Assistant: Maximum 30 years
Junior Superintendent / Junior Engineer / Junior Translation Officer: Maximum 35 years
Assistant Engineer: Maximum 40 years
Note: Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules.
Educational & Professional Qualifications:
Junior Superintendent: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks + MS Office proficiency + 3 years experience at Level-5 or 8 years at Level-3.
Junior Technician (Groups I–V): B.Sc / B.E. / B.Tech or 3-year Diploma with 55% marks in relevant branch (Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Electrical, Civil, CS/IT) + 1 year post-qualification experience for Diploma holders.
Junior Engineer (Civil): B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (55%) with 2 years experience OR 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering (55%) with 3 years experience.
Assistant Engineer (Civil/Electrical): Degree or Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering + 5 years (for Degree) or 8 years (for Diploma) experience at Pay Level-6 or above.
Junior Library Assistant: B.Lib.I.Sc (55%) OR Diploma in Library Science (55%) with a Bachelor's Degree OR 2-year integrated M.Lib.I.Sc (55%).
Junior Translation Officer: Bachelor's Degree in Hindi with English as a subject + 3 years translation experience.
